SM22 were daring enough to challenge the traditional sports and media venture and change the way content is consumed and created. Positioning them as pioneers meant they had to change their perceptions, leave behind tradition and become their vision.

We leveraged the symbolic balance and harmony of '22' to represent their innovative blend of physical and virtual worlds. We developed an augmented brand concept around '22', not as an addition but a multiplication of efforts, '2 x 2', creating a brand greater than its sum. This bold strategy encapsulated SM22's pioneering spirit and visually communicated their commitment to redefine the sports and media landscape.

THE solution

Addressing SM22's two distinct services, Amplify and Ventures, we designed individual brand marks that not only represent each service independently but also unite to form the overall brand mark, symbolizing their synergy. To enrich the brand's visual identity, we incorporated dynamic icons as supporting graphics, reflecting SM22's innovative approach. Balancing this dynamism, we opted for a simple custom wordmark, grounding the brand and ensuring accessibility, resulting in a comprehensive and versatile brand identity.
