Dancing the line between playful and professional
Imagine a top designer reaching out to work on their portfolio site. Kiko got in touch wanting to create a playful portfolio site that would stand out in the highly competitive London design industry.
THE CHALLENGE
We needed a future proofed portfolio site that would showcase Kiko's creative work, design experiments and also serve as an effective tool in the job-seeking landscape.
THE STRATEGY
We had to consider how to implement micro interactions and animations in a way that would support the work. It would have been criminal not to collaborate with Kiko across this project so after the discovery session, we took the insights and jammed across Figma to realise the design.
THE solution
We struck a harmonious balance - where every interaction complements, not competes with, the work. The animations are there to amplify, ensuring Kiko's work is always centre stage.
